It was 3 weekends since we had stayed put in Bangalore, and the weekend of 18th and 19th August 2007 wasn't to be any different!
With one set of parents visiting, we decided to plan a drive to some place outside Bangalore, someplace not too far (so that we could make it back before Sunday evening), and yet not too close (to get away from the madness of Bangalore. We all wanted some peace and quiet.
We dare say, we did find the perfect setting, although we did come across it rather innocuously. Browsing through the book "52 weekends away from Bangalore", we came across the Shivasamudram falls. Digging a little deeper, we came across the Cauvery Wildlife Sanctuary, and thought that would be near perfect. Digging still further, we hit on "Georgia sunshine Village", which we might define as Heaven!
We found out the details, and voila, we had a booking for the weekend!
